Getting to Sky Stone Earthship at 265 Mesa Sea Rd By Car:

• From Taos Town (about 20 minutes):

• Head north on US-64 W.
• You will need to turn left at the red light.
• After about 1 mile, turn right onto Jose Manuel Rd (Stay alert! It sorts of creep on you).
• Immediately after the dance studio, then turn left onto Ovejeros Rd.
• Continue on Ovejeros Rd, which eventually becomes Mesa Sea Rd.
• Follow Mesa Sea Rd until you reach 265 Mesa Sea Rd, where you will see our earthship. Look for the Skystone sign on the left.

• From Taos Ski Valley (about 30 minutes):

• Head south on NM-150 S toward Arroyo Seco.
• Turn right onto NM-230 W, then merge onto US-64 W.
• After approximately 6 miles, turn right onto Jose Manuel Rd, then follow the directions above.

• From Taos Pueblo (about 20 minutes):

• Take US-64 W for 8 miles, then turn right onto Jose Manuel Rd and follow the directions above.

By Air:

• Taos Airport: Located only 6 miles (10 minutes) from the house!
• Santa Fe Regional Airport: Located about 90 miles (1.5 hours) south of Taos. Take I-25 N, then follow US-285 N to Taos. Continue following the directions from Taos Town.
• Albuquerque International Airport: About 130 miles (2.5 hours) south. Take I-25 N to Santa Fe, then follow the above route.

Tips for Guests:

• Landmark Alert: Look for the turn onto Jose Manuel Rd from Highway 64. It sorts of appear out of the blue.
• Unpaved Road Warning: Mesa Sea Rd, though a magnificent scenic road is unpaved and occasionally bumpy. Drive cautiously.
• Weather Precautions: In winter or rainy seasons, a vehicle with good clearance is recommended. That’s the case on many roads in the region so don’t hesitate to go for the higher clearance side when renting!
